OSNT.io ("we", "our", "the app") is a real-time open source intelligence monitoring tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
We do not collect personal data. The app does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
The app connects to the OSNT.io API to fetch publicly available event data, flight tracking data, and threat level information. These requests do not include any personal identifiers. Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp) may be recorded for operational purposes and are not shared with third parties.
If you enable notifications, the app uses local (on-device) notifications to alert you about breaking events matching your keyword alerts or followed regions. No push notification service or third-party messaging platform is used. Notification processing happens entirely on your device.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar services.
Event images are loaded directly from Twitter/X media servers (pbs.twimg.com). Loading these images is subject to Twitter/X's own privacy policy.
We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.
The app is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
